Before release
Review every item number and quantity against the approved plan. Check sink, appliance, corner, and tall-cabinet conditions again. Obtain written confirmation of availability, current pricing, freight, lead time, and the final ship-to address before payment or release.
Account for the finishing pieces
Mark fillers, exposed ends, toe-kick covering, panels, and molding on each elevation. These items are easy to overlook when the first list focuses only on cabinet boxes.
Check that every accessory belongs to the selected series and finish. Record quantities and placement so the installation team can match each piece to the room.
Keep a clear approval record
Save the final drawing, item list, finish selections, and written quote together. Identify the version being approved so an older sketch does not become the order by mistake.
If a specification changes, review the affected items and total again. Confirm any revised delivery arrangements before scheduling installation.
